Interventions & Student Support

Providing Targeted Support for Student Success

Our district is committed to ensuring that all students receive the support they need to succeed academically and socially. We offer multi-tiered intervention programs to assist students who may need additional help in reading, math, behavior, or other areas.

What Are Interventions?

Interventions provide targeted instruction and support to help students meet grade-level expectations. These services are designed to supplement, not replace, core instruction and can take place in small groups or one-on-one settings.

Alternative Delivery of Specialized Instructional Services (ADSIS)

ADSIS is a state-funded program that provides early intervention for students who need additional academic or behavioral support but do not receive special education services. Our district uses ADSIS to:
✔ Help students struggling with reading and math skills.
✔ Provide behavioral interventions to promote positive social-emotional development.
✔ Reduce the need for more intensive services by intervening early.

How Do We Support Students?

Our district uses a Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework, which includes:
🔹 Tier 1: Core Instruction – High-quality classroom instruction for all students.
🔹 Tier 2: Targeted Support – Small-group interventions for students needing extra help.
🔹 Tier 3: Intensive Support – One-on-one interventions for students requiring significant assistance.

How Are Students Identified for Support?

Students may be identified for interventions through:
📌 Classroom assessments and teacher observations
📌 Benchmark assessments such as FASTBridge or NWEA MAP
📌 Behavioral data and attendance records
📌 Parent or teacher referrals

Family Involvement

We believe that family engagement is key to student success. Parents will be informed if their child is receiving intervention services and can partner with educators to support learning at home.
