Superintendent

Dear KoMet Families,

I’m excited to have the opportunity to introduce myself and share a bit about my journey in education. I began my career right here in the incredible Kasson-Mantorville School District as a high school special education teacher. From day one, I felt at home in this community—surrounded by passionate educators, supportive families, and students who bring energy and purpose to each day. Over the years, I have had the privilege of serving in a variety of roles, including teacher, assistant principal, curriculum director, principal, and now superintendent. Each of these experiences has shaped who I am as an educator and a leader. I believe in high expectations, strong relationships, and doing what’s right for students. Returning to lead the district where my journey began is truly an honor.

In addition to my work in education, I proudly served in the military for 12 years, an experience that shaped my leadership, resilience, and dedication to service. I am also the proud parent of three amazing adult children who continue to inspire me every day. My husband, Brad, and I both take great pride in being part of the KoMet community.

I am deeply passionate about creating an environment where every student can become the best version of themselves, whether their path leads to college, the military, a trade, or stepping into a family business. At Kasson-Mantorville, we are committed to helping every child discover their strengths, pursue their dreams, and thrive.

As superintendent, I believe in the power of strong relationships, community partnerships, and open communication. I am dedicated to fostering a culture of belonging, where every student and every staff member feels valued, supported, and empowered to succeed. Together, we will continue to build on the rich tradition of excellence that makes Kasson-Mantorville such a special place to learn and grow.
