Visitor Information & Safety Protocols
At Kasson-Mantorville School District, creating a warm, welcoming, and safe environment for our students, staff, and guests is our highest priority. To maintain this secure learning space, all district buildings utilize the Raptor Technologies Visitor Management System to screen guests prior to entry.
Entry Requirements
-
Valid Photo ID Required: Every visitor must present a valid government-issued photo ID (e.g., driver's license or passport) at the main office upon arrival.
-
Automated Screening: Your ID will be scanned through the Raptor system, which checks national sex offender databases and custom local school security alerts.
-
Visitor Badge: Once cleared, you will receive a custom printed visitor badge. This must be worn visibly on your outer clothing at all times while on school grounds.
-
Check-Out Process: Before departing, please return to the main office to turn in your badge and check out through the system.
Security Procedures & Policy
-
Missing Identification: Visitors without a physical photo ID will undergo a manual background verification conducted through the School Resource Officer (SRO) and Dodge County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch.
-
Refusal of Entry: Anyone who refuses to present valid identification or undergo screening will be denied entry.
-
System Alerts: If an alert or security flag is triggered during screening, campus administrators and the SRO are notified immediately to evaluate the situation.
-
Strict Compliance: Under no circumstances will any visitor be permitted past the main office without an official Raptor visitor badge, SRO/administrator authorization, or district-issued employee identification.
